A private hilltop estate on Costa Rica's South Pacific Coast

Where Beach and Forest Meet the Modern World.

5300 sqft (500 m²) of modern space with three bedrooms; a 15-meter infinity pool; uninterrupted ocean, sunrise, and sunset views above the Uvita rainforest canopy.

This ultra-modern hideout offers a rare blend of pure privacy, generous space, and breathtaking ocean and mountain views. At dusk, the water and the ocean beyond it appear to merge into a single surface, and your space becomes part of a much larger universe.

The approach to the villa runs through dense forest before the house comes into view. Vertical iron sunshades wrap the structure, shifting with the light as you climb. At the pool, the tree line drops away, and the Pacific opens to the horizon. Retractable glass walls erase the line between the living room and the terrace, so the ocean breeze moves through the house at all hours.

Mornings start on the upstairs terrace with coffee from the espresso machine, the forest still holding the night's cool air. By afternoon, the pool becomes the center of the house, its edge appearing to meet the ocean beyond it. In the three king suites, the only sound that carries through the open walls is the sound of the Pacific Ocean.

A dedicated office sits apart from the main living space, with its own terrace and high-speed internet, for the stretch of the trip when a call or a working morning cannot wait. Forest trails begin just past the garden, where birdwatching and the occasional glimpse of wildlife become part of your daily experience.

Villa Kazda sits five minutes from Whale's Tail Beach and Marino Ballena National Park, or a three-hour drive from San Jose International Airport or an easy 40-minute trip from the domestic Quepos airport, which also serves private jets.
