Calle Bejuco is our local mountain road. It connects Uvita to the Central Valley, crossing through hills and forest. Though public, it’s rarely traveled, offering breathtaking views of the Pacific and the dense, green canopy all along the way. You will need a true 4x4 to navigate smoothly here (Suzuki Jimny, Toyota Fortuner, or bigger).

And the rainy season? Don’t let it concern you. Here, summer stretches across all twelve months. The temperature stays warm and inviting all year long. Rain, if it happens at all, comes in the late afternoon between June and November, refreshing the day and revealing an explosion of thousands of shades of green you never knew existed.
